CIVIL ENGINEER – JAKE T. WISE, PE
In his career, Jake Wise has managed a vast spectrum of civil engineering projects and responsibilities, including site design and permitting of commercial, industrial, aerospace, institutional, government, residential and entertainment facilities. He provides conceptual site plans for single-phase projects, plus master planning for long-range site development. Permitting is critical for every project and Jake executes and carefully tracks all required site permitting. He has forged relationships at all governmental levels, including municipalities, counties, state, and federal agencies. He provides coordination throughout the design and construction process of all pre-design and construction testing, surveying, environmental reviews, inspections, and certifications.

  • Design and Permitting of Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Improvements – Complete design and permitting of $120 million worth of improvements including the Launch Complex 39 Observation Gantry, International Space Station Center, Rocket Garden, Early Space Exploration and various maintenance buildings, parking expansions, utility infrastructure, and stormwater treatment improvements.


  • Florida Power & Light (FPL) Sanford Plant Repowering – Involved in the $540 million FPL plant repowering including master planning, lift station networking, overall site accessibility, and site design and permitting.


  • Brevard County Surface Water Improvement Division (SWID) Fiske Boulevard Basin Study – West Rockledge and Brevard County basin analysis and stormwater design to minimize neighborhood flooding and improve roadway conditions during storm events.


  • Universal Studios Islands of Adventure – Poseidon’s Fury thematic water elements design and Black Box Theatre design.


  • Miscellaneous School Projects in Brevard, Marion, Palm Beach, Seminole, Lake, and Dade Counties – Complete site design and permitting for new and renovated elementary, middle, and high schools.


  • National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Launch Complex 17B – Site, stormwater, and utilities design for NASA site renovations including complete design review through Kennedy Space Center engineering and permitting agencies.


  • Sonic Drive-In Restaurants – Site due diligence prior to design and permitting of two restaurants in Brevard County.


  • Master Plan for Delaware North Parks Services of Spaceport (DNPSS) Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex – Master planning for future site development with an analysis of the overall layout, transportation, and utilities, including design and permitting of environmental impacts and a stormwater master plan.
